Fashion Show and Charity Auction
On November 4, 2001 THAIS, Inc. held a held a Fashion Show to promote mental health education issues among the Thai
community in Los Angeles County and to benefit the THAIS, Inc. Seniors Program.
The event included a fashion show in which Thai silk garments were modeled and then auctioned, with proceeds
benefitting the THAIS, Inc. Seniors Program.
The venue was the Jinda Thai Cuisine restaurant located at Thailand Plaza in Thai Town, Hollywood.
A large group of volunteers donated Thai silk and garments. A variety of traditional and contemporary Thai
fashions were modeled by several age groups.
Participants in the Seniors Program model traditional Thai silk garments.
The younger set also modeled both contemporary and traditional outfits.
The kids got in on the action as well.

Korean dance troop impressed the audience.
Nongyao and Super Pat enjoy the show with their guests, including Mr. Tery Song.
