Now available from THAIS, Inc. is a new immigrant handbook in Thai language with important and useful information

Fashion Show and Charity Auction
On November 4, 2001 THAIS, Inc. held a held a Fashion Show to promote mental health education issues among the Thai
community in Los Angeles County and Fundraising to benefit the THAIS, Inc. Seniors Program.
The event included a fashion show in which Thai silk garments were modeled and then auctioned, with proceeds
benefitting the THAIS, Inc. Seniors Program.

Breast Cancer Fundraiser
On Saturday August 4, 2001 we held our annual breats cancer fundraising event at the St. Garbed Armenia Apostolic
Church in Hollywood. It was a great success, with a large turn out, featuring entertainment by several ethnic

Thai Heritage Festival
On Sunday June 3, 2001 THAIS, Inc. sponsored the first annual Thai Heritage festival in Hollywood.
The event was a great success with over 700 visitors and participants. Pictures of the event can be viewed

THAIS, Inc. Meets the Media
On Sunday April 1, 2001 the Thai language media of Los Angeles were invited to meet the THAIS, Inc. staff.
Pacific Rim News, New Choomchon News, and others joined us for lunch and a discussion of the progress and goals
of THAIS, Inc.
