for Thai people of all ages. Seniors Program Our program for seniors includes several valuble free services:
The Seniors Program is made possible by the generous support of the California Endowment for Asian Pacific Counciling and Treatment. Youth Program Our youth program combines several actitivies into a program to help young people in our community. Actitivities include:
Our tobacco education for youth aims to prevent young people from ever starting to smoke through education and awareness of the health impacts. 
Youth program activites Health Fair In addition to the monthly free breast cancer screening we also support the annual health fair.  Thai Heritage and Food Festival THAIS, Inc. sponsors an annual Thai Heritage and Food Festival. The year 2002 festival was held Sunday, May 19, 2002 on Hollywood Blvd (between Harvard Blvd and Western Ave).  Parenting Classes Parenting classes are offered for new parents. A recent class session included a Thanksgiving party for all the young ones.  Census 2000 THAIS, Inc. helped mobilize the local Thai community to ensure a complete and accurate count was made during Census 2000. Accurate census statistics are key to obtaining our fair share of government funding for valuable social programs.  Government Education THAIS, Inc. strives to educate the community about the importance of participating in the political process.  Youth Summer Camp Youth summer camp gives the young people an opportunity to form new friendships that can help strengthen the Thai community.
